Abraham, who is a patient of the VA Medical Center in Iron
Mountain, was stunned at the seamless communication and
transfer of health records between Aspirus Grand View and
Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
“I was amazed with how they could integrate everything,”
he said. “They had it all down—my prescriptions, what
medications I was taking and my health history.”
Returning home to Hurley, Abraham’s circle of care and
recovery continued with exercise physiologist Myles Rowe at
Aspirus Grand View.
“Andy has been a great patient to work with,” said Rowe. “He
has an excellent attitude and an inspiring commitment to get
back to his best, which he has definitely done.”
When asked how soon he returned to coffee and conversation
with Jackson, Abraham said, “The first day back, he and I were
comparing notes.”
